Berger Briggs Real Estate & Property Management Inc.
In 1937, Walter O. Berger had been working in the real estate industry for Anderman & Glasebrook and Leslie P. Briggs was working for the Equitable Finance Company. They decided to team up and formed The Berger & Briggs Company to serve the real estate and insurance needs of a growing Albuquerque. They were located in a small one room office at 112 Second St SW, in the Sunshine Building. As their agency grew, they moved to a more spacious office building at 215 Third St. SW.

Wilfred Brennan & Albert Arrigoni
In 1970, Albert E. Arrigoni and Wilfred J. Brennan had been working for the P. F. McCanna Agency in downtown Albuquerque, selling and managing real estate and all types of personal and commercial insurance. That year Al and Wilfred purchased the Berger and Briggs Company, and formed Berger Briggs Real Estate & Insurance, Inc. They continued in the same location and grew the business successfully as Albuquerque and the surrounding area continued to grow.
In 1975-1976, John A. Menicucci, Frederick J. Brennan, and William F. Raskob joined Berger Briggs to continue the growth of the business as junior partners.
John Menicucci continued to grow the Real Estate and Property Management divisions of the company from small residential properties to the multitude of commercial, industrial, retail, office, apartment and investment properties that Berger Briggs serves to this day in the Albuquerque Metropolitan area.
In the early 2000’s, John, Fred and Will purchased the company from Al and Wilfred as they were retiring after 50 years in the business. In 2007, they moved the business to the current location of 4333 Pan American Freeway NE where the business has continued to grow.
In 2018, the Real Estate and Property Management divisions were split off from the Insurance division as its own entity. Today, with over 40 years of experience in commercial real estate, John Menicucci heads up a staff of 11 commercial real estate brokers and property managers.
Berger Briggs Real Estate & Property Management continues to offer real estate services for buying and selling all aspects of commercial real estate, leasing services, consulting services for investments, and all aspects of property management.
